FIDE

What is fide?

fide (Français, Italiano, Deutsch in Switzerland) is a Swiss national program supporting language integration for non-native speakers. It offers practical language training and official evaluation through the fide test, which certifies your French, Italian or German level.
The fide language passport is recognized by Swiss authorities and required for various residence permits and naturalization applications. It certifies your oral and written skills at levels A1, A2, or B1, depending on your legal status in Switzerland.
